Advantages and Disadvantages of Technology
İn the current time people can’t imagine their life without technological advances such as cars, microwaves, celi phones, computers, and televisions.. Surrounding us various technologies are helping people to live their life with more luxury. The technology sector has changed and created many products. However, it won’t stop here, but develop further. The technology is providing many advantages but also it has some disadvantages. Here we will discuss about both.
Advantages
Easier life – With technological machines people are getting help in every sector. Cars and bikes are helping people to reach anywhere quickly. Airplane and superfast trains have been reduced distance between cities and countries. Computer and internet are providing information in simplest way. İt has changed also the way of communication. Now people are doing video conferencing and chatting to communicate with their friends and family.
Fewer Mistakes – Machines are helping people to make fewer mistakes. Robots or machines work accurately when programmed correctly. They always accomplish tasks perfectly so you won’t have to worry about making a mistake and getting trouble.
Save Time – Technologies save our time, for an example you can fly anywhere in the world in short time. With Computer you can do any work in less time. Life is much easier as robots and machines would take över your daily life chores. With robots and machines doing your chores you have time to relax.
Disadvantages
Unemployment- Every one knows that technology is very helpful but it has some disadvantages too.
One disadvantage is that as technology develops, robots and machines will take över many jobs and human workers retain less value by contrast. So people loose their jobs. As people loose their jobs, they will have hard time getting money. And this would make it hard for them to afford living expenses. Employers need to pay only önce while employees get paid for every month. Dependency-Another disadvantage of highly developed technology is that machines and robots are too complex for most people to use. Think about it, if most people have trouble on computers or don’t know the actual limit of the computers’ abilities, how will they work with ali the robots and machines? This means that when a machine breaks or a Computer crashes, humans become
almost disabled until the problem is resolved. This kind of dependency on technology puts people at a distinct disadvantage, because they become less self-reliant.
