Göktürk-2 Earth Observation Satellite
Göktürk-2 is Turkey’s first Earth observation satellite. It was launched in December 2012. A young and dynamic team manufactured Göktürk-2. They made dozens of meetings and hundreds of tests to monitor every step of the progress. Turkish engineers designed every single system on the Göktürk-2 satellite. The second Turkish satellite Göktürk-1 was launched in 2016. It has higher resolution optical payload than Göktürk-2. It provides images for both civil and military applications.
