Objective: To develop listening skills and revise the unit’s vocabulary and structure.
• Togetthestudentstobeawareofthe cultural diversity and the different languages in the world, give specific importance to “My World” parts ofthe book. As these are the early years of language learning, encourage them to see learning English and other foreign languages as fun.
• Pointtothevehiclesinthephotos. Elicit which vehicle it is.
• Pre-teach the words “famous, sightseeing, safe, public, crowded” talking about these buses.
• Give the instructions and explain the actîvity.
• Play the CD. Students listen and match the names to the photos.
• Play the CD again. Students check their answers or find the ones that they miss.
• Check the answers as a whole class. Ask some questions for comprehension: What colour is the sightseeing bus in London? Is an American school bus safe in America? Is a Jeepney for students?
