GRILL MYSELF
I regret turning a hotdog barbecue into a tragedy imprudently. June means sunshine and summer barbecues for my family. These can be a perfect way to celebrate summer for us. İt was 2 years ago. My aunt, her family and we got together in our garden to have grili for dinner. I was starving and vvanted to make it quicker. When my dad went inside the house, I poured gasoline onto the barbecue after the fire had started. If only I hadn’t done this.
İt exploded in my face and my right hand ali of a sudden. I was horrified. I could see the flames shooting up into the air. Ali my family were around me immediately. I was screaming and crying in pain. VVhile my aunt was extinguishing the grili, my parents were taking me to an emergency room. I was so lucky that I vvasn’t damaged seriously. The first burnt part on my face was inevitably my eyebrows. They cooled my poor nose with cold water to reduce swelling. And finally they covered the blisters on my hand loosely with a sterile bandage. They gave me medicine to relieve my pain. After 2-3 weeks, I was totally OK. If only I hadn’t popped the blisters on my hand. I would have got well sooner.
