It was a dark evening, and the weather was cold. Mr Harris was getting ready for the dinner with his friends in a restaurant. It was about 8 when he got out. There was nobody in the street except one behind a bush. The police arrived there while Mr Harris was sitting on the sofa and looking through the broken window. He went to the bedroom. He opened the drawers one by one and took all the jewelry. He took the painting before he left the house. A burglar was watching Mr Harris behind the bush while he was leaving his house. After Mr Harris got into his car and drove away, the burglar climbed in through the window of the dining room. When he came to the living room, he saw a beautiful painting on the wall. When Mr Harris came back his house, he got shocked.
He called the police.
