Holmes is famous for his power of observation. He uses this power to solve crimes and mysteries. One of the most famous detectives in the mystery fiction is the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. He first appeared in 1920 in Agatha Christie’s first novel. Poirot has many characteristics, but he is famous for his ability to solve complicated mysteries. Jane Marple is another fictional detective in Agatha Christie’s stories. Her first appearance was in a short story published in 1926. She is one of the most loved and famous of Christie’s characters. Ellery Queen appeared for the first time in 1929. Ellery Queen was the name of the character and the author. His father was an inspector in New York Police Department. He mostly wrote about his father’s adventures. His stories are famous for their realistic dialogues. Cingöz Recai is a fictional character in a series of books by the well known Turkish author Peyami Safa. He first appeared in 1924. In a fiction, Recai acts versus Sherlock Holmes, and in another fiction, he is at work against Arsene Lupin.
